I made one a while back and I started by adding very small amounts of brown until I got it to the right shade (or value) I added a very small amount of yellow. It worked out well for me. Sorry I don't have a picture or more detailed info - that was before I took notes about my cakes.

Good luck and be sure to post it when you are done!

If you have time, Wilton't copper color makes a perfect flesh tone. I don't know if they sell it seporately or if you have to buy the 12 pack of color that has the small jar in it. Good Luck.

They do sell the copper seperately and it works well with just a tad of brown.

i am not sure if this is true or not but when i took the wilton classes my teacher said that since certain pans are copyrighted ie winnie the pooh dora the explorer scooby doo you need to use the copyrighted colors to go with those pans .. i used them only because i never have any luck making colors myself i just can never get the right shade ..

Here is a link to the instruction page on the Wilton site. In case it doesn't work, you go to WIlton.com, click the Cake box. Click on shaped cakes and there is a search for the instructions. You need Adobe to read it. GL. icon_smile.gif
