I've often considered crossing over and doing cookie bouquets as well, but it just seems so much more time consuming than cakes...maybe not, maybe I was just trying to talk myself out of it! Curious though...how much do you charge for each bouquet?

Thanks gals!
Mocakes- Thats what I thought too! They are really fun. ANd no more involved than cakes. I made the no fail sugar, had everything I needed in my pantry. I made 1/2 the recipe and it got me 18 cookies. I made ant74 icing and it is so easy and good. I was just waiting for something to go wrong. I don't know if you can mess it up. The hardest part was waiting for them to dry! I say you have to try it! I personally do not like the sugar cookies I think they are bland. So That is probably something I would like to change. Thanks for looking.

oh yeah- and as far as the price. I would probably aske $18.00 for 6.
Includes mug, styrofaom, cookie sticks, treat bags, ribbon, tissue paper, then probably $1.50 each cookie for ingredients of cookie dough and icing recipe. And probably a dollar each in labor. When I delivered these to my sister and mom, they were impressed by me to say the least! Some ideas to give you or help, whichever. Not that I should even recommend because I am new to them too, but let your cookies cool at least 30 minutes before trying to put them on cooling rack to decorate. I broke 3 trying to move them too soon. I used wiltons candy making bottles to do border(dam) around edges. Let them dry 5-10 minutes before filling in. Fill in let dry 10 min. And then pipe decorations on and dry like 18 hours is what Antonia 74 suggest. I did 12 hrs and smudged a few placing them in the treat bags. The icing goes a long way too. I made the full batch and decorated 18 cookies and have 1/2 the batch left over. It just took like half a cup to do outline border(dam). It really was so much fun.
