If I make NFSC and ice them in Alice's icing in stages (maybe over the course of a couple of days), how long will the cookies stay fresh?
For example...if I make cookies on a Wed. and ice them on Wed. and Thurs. then bag them on Fri. (and make the bouquet), will they stay fresh at least through the weekend?
I am planning to make a few large bouquets for my church festival's bid-n-buy and want to know the best way to plan it all out. I don't want to rush the decorating, but I definitely want them to taste good for whoever buys them on Sun. The bid-n-buy ends Sun. at 8:00pm, so they probably wouldn't even get eaten until the next week at the earliest. Any thoughts?
If you bag these on Friday they will be fine on Sunday. I have bagged cookies several days in advance. If your still concerned you can also freeze for a few days but I don't think it necessary.
