I need a good yellow cake that I can stack. I tried a scratch one that is posted in the recipe section, but I thought it was kind of dry. I really prefer scratch but would be willing to try a doctored mix, as well. Help, I need it ASAP! Thanks!

I only have but a doctored up recipe to give lol. Use yellow cake mix, vanilla pudding mix, 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 1/4c milk/water, 1tsp extract, 1/2 c oil. Bake at 350 until it springs back. That will give you a cake sturdy enough to stack!

Enjoy!

dodibug - do you mean 1 1/4 cup water or milk? I want to make sure I don't use too much liquid!
