Honestly--you really should figure out how much it's gonig to cost you to make it and then come up with your pricing. Being that it's not stacked, tiered, etc., I wouldn't charge the same as I would for a wedding. But heck, a cake that big is BIG.

Don't to forget the boards and box in your pricing. I had to buy a "tray" box for a full sheet and it, alone, cost me $4.

thanks, I figured it would be about 225 that is if you take 2 full sheet cakes plus a half sheet. Your peaces would be about a 4 x 4 peice. Do you think that would be enough?

a 4x4 piece seems like a very large piece of cake I would think that you would plan on a piece about 2x2 in a normal situation

Yes i am also, I just don't understand the 2.00 per slice. What is the size of a peice?Shoot if your like my family a 2 x 2 inch peice is just a crumb. My family likes to eat. hehe

Tell me about it.... a piece of cake to me and most people I know is 5 or 6 inches up and down!
But I would go to a bakery around you ask them the cost they would do, and how big a peice is there...and go from there.

thanks, I think she went with publix to get the cake done. I told her that her price would be around 200. Do you think that was too much. I figured it out and to feed 150 people with pink roses would be around 285.00 if you go with 1.90 per slice. So I cut it down to about 1.50 per slice and that came out to 225. Oh well her lose. thanks for everything tho. Oh and tell all the girls out there wilton is having a "you take the cake" contest they can veiw the details on the wilton web page at wilton.com.
