Just curious...is there any chance you are left handed? I am and when I started making roses etc...it looked strange to watch someone ...like my hand wouldnt follow their directions, and I would watch them and think I could follow ...but couldnt...became a lot easier once I realized that I couldnt so it that same as a righty...lol

Keep at it! I've seen it done a bunch of times and I still don't do wonderful roses. I do find it easier to do them in royal icing. Don't know why.
