There is a smaller show here in Oct. I am considering attending to help me get my name out. My concern is that the hotel has obviously planned this last minute (as in started last month) and I just received the info last week. I have been told that they have not had a good response (this is from the hotel staff) and I am concerned about the turnout. Any thoughts or opinions?
I think it would depend on your cost if there are not alot of people. If it is cheap I think it would be a great exposure for you.
Sorry, I guess I should have said, it's $300. Which isn't a huge amount in some respects but I am spending a load of money to get licensed so I have to be choosy about where I spend. Does that make any sense?
Maybe you should concentrate on gettting licensed if it is that much you may not see rewards from it if there are not alot of people. Really hard to say whether or not they will get lots of people. I think it is a hard call to make.
It doesn't sound like they have advertised this show much. If it were me, I would hold off and save that money for a better advertised Bridal Show. If you just got licensed, there are other ways to get the word out there, and besides sometimes it is best to test the waters before jumping in. I know you want to hurry up and get customers and start getting your investment back, but just starting out sometimes there are some clitches that you need to work out before you get swamped.
I would skip it - sounds a little shady to me......
Cupcake - your going to hit 200 in no time posting at this rate - you are everywhere this morning!
