Help... How Do You Cover A Cake With Choc Clay?

Is this possible? Do I layer with bc under the choc clay? Any Help would be appreciated.

I believe you cover it the same way you cover a cake with fondant.
The consistancy is very similar.
Hoping to hear from an expert!

I have done a few cake in chocolate clay! You do it the same way as fondant. Chocolate clay you need to use crisco and it is easier to mend any cracks, as you cant do this with fondant!

I have a cake covered in chocolate clay in my pics. It's the one with the truffles around the base. It is very similar to working with fondant, you just dust your work surface with cocoa powder so it doesn't stick. It's very easy.

OMG....chocolate clay covered cake! I've died and gone to heaven...I'm going to have to try this VERY soon!!!
