Thanks to all for your input in my cookie making decision. Here are my cookies that I made with Martha Stewart's sugar cookie (my new favorite) with Antonia's icing flavored with creme bouquet. The flavoring goes very well with Martha's cookies as she adds fresh lemon juice and rind to her recipe. Thanks for looking!

THOSE ARE AWESOME!!! I'm studying to be an MA and these would be wonderful to take into my class!!! Hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea... And GREAT choice going with the gingerbread man instead of the bear. By the way, do the Martha sugar cookies taste "sugary" or are they like a shortbread like the no-fails? I'm looking for a "sugary" sugar cookie cut-out recipe... Thanks!! And once again, those are excellente thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

Thank you so much for your kind comments! Taysmama, Martha's cookie is not sugary - it is more like the no-fail but with a lemony taste as it uses fresh lemon juice and the zest.

Andrea, high prraise coming from you! I love your work! Please post your pictures to the gallery as I know others would love to see them too.

Best of luck thumbs_up.gif

Thanks everyone for your kind comments and for your help yesterday when I was making these. I took your advice and used a little of the leaf green and the royal blue for the green scrubs and just a little of the royal blue for the blue scrubs. I had ordered the creme bouquet last week and it came just in time to make these cookies. I ordered it from a shop in Jacksonville Florida that Daltonam had visited and they have an online service. I've heard the flavor described as a little vanilla, almond and lemon which I think is a pretty close description.

I took the cookies in this morning when I went in for my check up and they all went crazy for them. They made me feel soooo good. I even went to xray and the cast room (completely different department than my surgeon) and people were coming in with my cookies!

Fantastic cookie! I already had put it into my favorites. I love that cookie cutter because you can do so many different things with it. I am going to make this cookie for my friend's husband who is a surgeon. Thank you so much for sharing your great idea and in inspiring so many with all of your fabulous cookies.

Awwwwsoooommee job!
I am totally impressed.
I always liked baking cakes but since I learned about this site (this weekeend) ... I am really considering trying to make cookie bouquets for my twin best friends... I am currently searching in this forum the use of plastic popsicle sticks... Do they melt while baking??? mmmm I'll try to figure it out.
