I have some milk and the expiry date is tomorrow. Is it ok to use it? I bought some new stuff from the store and its expiry is not unitl the end of July but it smells funny so I don't want to use it. The reason why I'm using milk is because I accidentally bought an organic cake mix and it doesn't say "milk or water" like the Betty Crocker one does. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

It will be fine. I've used milk that was 2 days after the best before.. I just take a small taste to make sure it hasn't gone bad.

When i purchase a gallon of milk I usually freeze it until I am ready to use it. It is just like new, same taste and texture.

My son worked in a grocery in high school. That date is most likely the "last sell date", not necessarily the "last use date".

Smell it and go.
