Thank you for posting that coupon. I love Hobby Lobby and this gives me just one more excuse to go. I have had my eye on the tilting cake turntable but didn't want to pay $60.00 for it but 50% off that is just what I have been waiting for. I guess patience does pay off! LOL Thanks again!!

Please stop and think before you buy the tilting turntable. I have one and have only used it once. Wanted to toss it out the window then. We had a thread going about that on CC and there was not one person that liked theirs.

Well I am glad I posted I was going to buy that. Thanks for the info. There are plenty of other supplies I can use this coupon for.

I'd have to agree, my Mom bought me one and although I won't tell her, I hate it. It's very unstable if you have a cake that weighs anything at all. The "features" they advertise just aren't that great, I've almost lost a couple cakes using it!

My daughter just came through on her way to church and I gave her a 50% off coupon as she is going to Springfield this week. She was whooping and hollering. I noticed that my son in law didn't looked nearly as thrilled.

App__37190, glad a few more gave their opinion of the turntable so it wasn't just me that gave you that advice. I have never told my daughter how bad I hate it as she got it for me for Christmas one year. I'm trying to figure out how to give it to her politely. She does way more cakes than I do so that's a good reason. I'm afraid she'll hate me afterwards. icon_lol.gif

Thanks for the heads up on the Hobby Lobby coupon. My printer is not working. My wonderful hubby drove to his work to print me one. Even knowing that I intend to purchase quite a few items. AAHH! True love. I'm sooo blessed.

Thanks for the heads up on the turntables. I really wanted one and was waiting for the money and a good coupon. Glad I didn't waste the money we don't really have. Now I can get other things I need. icon_biggrin.gif

What is everyones opinion on the big fondant rolling pin? I was thinking about getting one of those using the 50% off coupon too.

wooowohoooo! i love 50% off on wilton products!!! thats when i stock up...
i was having a terrible time with a couple of cakes this weekend, my fault, i was trying to make sculpted cakes with out using pound cake....anyway i ran out of green coloring, and black coloring and it was 11 p.m. guess what? i had both those colors in my storage bin...because i stocked up last time. i recomend getting colors, clear vanilla, almond extract, the paper triangles (whatever they are called) tips, and stuff that you use on a reg. bases.

about the wilton tilting turn table, its a waste of money!!!!

but i love the wilton lagrg fondant roller...that is a must have if you want to work with fondant!!!!

good luck with the sell!!!!!

Just curious, is this one Wilton item per coupon or can you get more than one thing?

Thanks!

I haven't tried the wilton fondant roller but my teacher recommended going to Home Depot and getting a thick dowel and have them cut it in half. Maybe three inches thick. It's worked great for me and it was only a couple of dollars.

Last time HL had the 50% on Wilton coupon, my store (Greenville,SC) did not just limit to one item. I'm planning to go at lunch time today, so we'll see what they say. If I remember right, there was some discussion on here last time about different stores having different policies on that. Guess it just depended on who the manager was. I love to stock up, so I hope it's all Wilton, not just one at a time!

Has anybody been to HL yet??

The only thing the coupon states is that its 50% off REGULAR priced items...no limit....so I think all you buy of Wilton Products would be 50% off.

I wish I lived closer to a Hobby Lobby. That is a great deal, but I am not planning to go into the metroplex until this weekend. I guess I will miss out on this one! That is a great deal! Happy shopping to the rest of you!

Usually the coupon states off regular priced item and one coupon per day per customer. I don't believe you can use one coupon and purchase everything at one time. You would have to print several and go back (purchase items at different times).

the one i printed off the internet states. Offer applies to regular priced items only...so I would assume you could buy more than one thing, but i plan on checking it out today.

I went today and used my coupon I bought 4 of each size cake boxes, the wonder mold pan w/doll pick, the football pan, disposable bags, a 16 inch icing bag, italic message press, garland marker, and the new 2007 3 tier display stand all of it with tax was 58.57!!! WOOHOO!!!!

I was the first one in the store and the manager did not even know they were running the coupon special. He kinda acted like he was not going to let me use it and then he said to go ahead... He made a very good choice by letting me use it because I did not get much sleep last night and my DD got up in an "AWESOME" mood this morning..YAH RIGHT!!!! So I was in a GREAT mood... icon_evil.gif

But now I am SOOOO EXCTITED!!!

Yep just used mine...it was for anything wilton I bought...I was disappointed though..I wanted the professional cake turntable (not the tilted one) but my Hobby does not carry them. I did however stock up on Wilton colors....I mean at .78 each how can you not!
