Thank you so much for posting! I've always wanted to do one of these, and thought it was so much work that I wouldn't have time to do a practice cake. I'll now be trying one today!
Justfrosting, thanks for the tutorial!
Seaqueen, your puppy is adorable! You did a great job!!
i did mine with this tutorial and it was so cute we coulnt eat it! justfrosting that was so nice of you for letting us use the tutorial. I had so much fun doing this cake and my husband and daughter helped me as well. my hubby and aunt said to me i keep looking and looking and looking at it because it looks so real.lol!!
What a great tutorial. I can do when I see pictures. And yours are great. Thanks for the info.
Thanks so much for the tutorial! I have seen the cakes here on CC and always wondered how to do it-now I know!! Just one question-how much frosting is it in between the 2 halves in the body? From the picture it looks like about 1 inch? I know you mentioned earlier that it takes a lot of frosting, but I thought maybe you were talking about the "fur" on the whole dog. If it is that much in the body, it would really be a LOT. Anyway, I'm going to try it!
it's so cool seeing things come together like that. thanks for taking the time to post.
Oh wow!!! AWESOME!! Thank you so much for posting this tutorial!!! I can't wait to try it!!!!
Here is my puppy dog cake!! A replica of my dog, Daisy. Not as bad as I thought it would be!! Thanks for the instructions, Justfrosting! Well, I tried uploading it here, but it must be too big-just look in my photos to see it.
