Help! "summer Fun" Idea For Church Pre-School Cak
Decorating By fytar Updated 14 Jun 2005 , 8:31pm by KATE39
I have some ideas already - I have to make it tonight!! I haven't finalized my design, though. I just don't know how to make a sandbox and shovel (this is going to be a small sheet cake). I don't think beach scenery is appropriate for this particular cake. Basically, they have swing sets and slides and sandboxes! I just can't get this pictured in my head!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!
Do you have the 2000 Yearbook? If you do, on page 29 there is a cake titled "The Swing Set" If you don't, let me know and I will see if I can scan the page for you and send it to you. There are kids swinging and sliding down the slide. It looks really cute and I bet you could add a sand box around the entire swing set or where ever you wanted using some brown icing for a border around the top if you wanted to. I use crushed graham crackers for my sand usually. You could use brown sugar like they suggest here and use a thimble to make sand castles or something else I am sure.
Hope that helps.
smileyface, I do not have the yearbook you are referring to. That would be a huge blessing if you could email that to me. I have to leave here in an hour and ten minutes...if you can't get it to me within that time frame, I guess I'll wing it (my computer is down at home). Thanks so much. My email is [email protected]

Tarina, I just sent you the scanned picture from the Wilton Yearbook. I hope it makes it to you in time. I also included two pictures of flip flop CCC that I made for my kids' last day of preschool. I would be happy to tell you how I made them if you are interested.
Have fun!!
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PICTURE OF THE FLIP FLOP CCC IF YOU COULD SEND IT TO ME THAT WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS, CATHY. SEND IT TO [email protected]
