I make these cookie mix jars for friends/family for the holidays, chocolate chip, chocolate oatmeal, chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips, etc. I've been asked by some friends how much i'd charge to sell it to them, so that they could give them away as presents. I have no idea how much to charge for these. The supplies that go into it are the flour, baking soda, chocolate chips, sugars, and the canning jars, fabric, ribbon and hand printed gift tags with instruction. How much would you charge for these?

thanks in advance icon_biggrin.gif

I've seen them in stores for 9or 10 dollars. I make them as gifts all the time. I sold them at a craft fair a couple of years ago for 3-5 dollars each.

I am in a women's social sorority called Beta Sigma Phi. One of our local chapters sells those cookie mixes in Mason jars for $10, I think, and they decorate the jars with squares of pretty fabrics under the jar ring. The fabric edges are cut with pinking shears, and they tie ribbons around the rings. They sell a lot around different holidays, with holiday fabrics and ribbons, and holiday type mixes. Many people buy them as gifts. Sounds like a good money maker.
