Cocoa In Ganache?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has used cocoa powder in ganache. i know you can use in in many baking recipes, but am not sure abbout this. Any feedback is very appreciated.

I've never heard of using cocoa in ganache. Do you mean to substitute it for melted chocolate or to add to the chocolate? Since ganache is an emulsion of the fats in the cream and chocolate, I don't know if it would work either as an additive or a substitution.

You can't make ganache with cocoa powder, but you could make an icing with cocoa that you could pour over a cake. It would not have the rich fudgy texture that ganache has.
