What recipe do you all use for a basic chocolate cake? I like using the box cake mixes but want to add something to make it better. Any suggestions??

If you are using a mix, for an easy enhancement I add a box of instant Jello mix and an extra egg.

Try searching for chocolate recipes on this site. Some of them look pretty good.

I like the Hershey Chocolate cake - look at the cocoa box. it's great and moist. Also I think the Killer Chocolate cake on this site is good too.

The cake mix doctor Darn Good Chocolate cake is out of this world!!! I have it posted on this sight. Couple it with the chocolate syrup frosting and you will have died and gone to heaven!!! (Chocolate heaven, that is).
