I just got it today and I'm not sure if I got it the right kind or not. The mold feels like they're made of hard foam, not clear plastic kind. Can I still use it for melted chocolate in order to make seashells? I have a feeling it's for fondant and/or royal icing use only, but I'm not too sure.

It should work fine. You can mold chocolate in almost anything.

Thanks, JoannB. I just emailed the company to ask them a question about the mold I purchased it from them and see if I can use melted chocolate on it.
