DH is a retired Marine, both our sons are Marines. We have lived on the east coast, west coast, and the far east.
I'm in New York now, lol. Once was married and lived in Pembroke, Kentucky then moved closer to the base in Clarksville, Tenn.
I am originally from West Virginia, moved down to Houston, TX when I was a kid when my Dad got transferred here. I am married with 5 kids. Twin boys, 22, 10 yob, 8 yob, and 2 yog. (finally got my girl). I have been decorating cakes for years just for the family, but hoping to branch out more now.

Small world...my dh was stationed there too for 4 years. What squadron was your husband in. Mine was VFA-146, 1996-2000. I never lived there but visited often.
I'm now in Beaverton, OR but I'm from Vancouver Canada!!! DH from Knoxville TN.

This is so neat! My brother-in-law is stationed at NAS Lemoore (originally from Oklahoma City, OK and met my sister when he moved here). He is currently out to sea on the USS Nimitz.
AND my sister-in-law used to live in Beaverton, OR (now in Silverton) and my mother-in-law lives in Brightwood, OR.

I am from Timmins Ontario Canada (2 hrs. south of where the road ends as my DH describes it & home of Eileen Twain A.K.A Shania). I am currently living in Florence KY a suburb of Cincinnati OH.
I have lived on the eastern shore of MD, MN, UT & now KY. I get a 3-5 yr posting and we are not in the military.
I love this site. It has been an inspiration to me for several months now. Keep on baking.
Seriously....what a longggggggggggg post!!!! Ok, so I am from Alton Illinois...met my hubby in Missouri when he was a Fireman in the Air Force (Knob Noster) Mo to be exact!! So we lived there for 3 years He is from So Cal...so we moved to San Diego after he graduated from college...lived there for 7 years...had 2 children..Sierra who is 4 and Dakota who is 1 1/2...moved to Washington State when I was pregnant with my third...lived there for 4 months...he got a job in Colorado...so we moved again...(still pregnant)! Had our third baby girl in December...so she's 4 months...live in Fort Collins now...and NEVER MOVING AGAIN!!! We love it here!! Oh, I'm sorry you mean you didn't want my life story??????

How strange. I bet I know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows you. You know, the whole 6 degrees of seperation. I believe it is believed that everyone knows someone through 6 degrees of seperation 
I find that hard to imagine though.
