I am from VA born and raised here. Though I live 3 hours from home, thanks to UNCLE SAM, still in the state though. I want to say hello to all those Kentuckians!! We lived there for only 2 1/2 years but loved it and wish we would have stayed! We were at Ft. Knox then and loved Louisville and E-town! I miss it! I love this site, i am addicted to it. i just moved 7mth ago from sterling, va to culpeper, va it is very different out here compared to sterling when i had all the store across the street from were i lived and now i have to drive 30 to 40 min to the shopping center were micheals, target, and lots of other stores are,in Fredericksburg VA. we do got a wal-mart in town. well i am new to this site and i love it. i have been doing cakes for my kids and friend for the past 2 yrs i've takened the wilton class 1 and 2 last year right beforei moved over here i want to take the 3rd class but its a little far for me to go. i am looking to see if someone in culpeper gives classes. i would be so happy.

I'm a Brit living in California. I find it fun reading about fondant, and everybody's dislike of the taste of Wilton's. We've been using it in UK for years, but it's very tasty. I think the new Wilton stuff is now made in UK, so it would be interesting to know the difference. I used to use Regal Ice in UK, and it was very edible, and super to work with.

Hello everyone - I live in the northwest area of Houston, Texas. I'm fairly new to this site, and am hoping to upload some pics soon. I took my first Wilton class 20 years ago, but have mostly made cakes for my family and co-workers, kinda busy raising 5 kids. Lately, I have been doing more cakes and am very excited about getting back into it. I just LOVE this site! It is so FULL of ideas, and everyone is so nice and helpful. Okay I was born out side of Houston TX in a very small town called Richmond and then when I was 5 my mom moved us to a smaller town in central TX called Bryan. we are sister cities with College Station, home of the fightin Texas Aggies. I got started with cakes because like most of you they didn't have what i wanted in the stores, but i'll tell you i live in the wrong part of MI for this hobby the stores up here don't carry very many supplies for cake decorating I'm so glad i found this site I just love it!
