I would do the smash cake in a 6". And some places give those as free as part of the first birthday thing.

How are they to be decorated? That has a lot to do with the pricing. I agree with the 6 in for the smash cakes, but I would charge. Maybe let them have 1 free, but not 2. I make smash cakes 1 layer 6 in round.

Sorry I didn't read the part about needing two. I would agree on charging something. Last year for my son's first birthday they gave me the smash cake for free but it was at a chain grocery store....they can afford it.

How much is it going to cost you to make all of them?

You have to know that before you can know what to charge.

It's for a 9 year old's party they will have seperate themes than the original cake. I guess they are having 2 small kids there? What do you think?

I would say discount the smash cakes to about $5 a piece if you do 1 layer 6" without too much decoration. Depending on pricing in your area, I would charge at least $25 (8") or $35 (10") for the square with an additional $10 (at least) for the sports ball cake. That make's it a minimum of $45, which I still think is low. Also, are you going to charge a delivery fee?
