I am working on a Birthday cake for my frandson's birthday for tomorrow. What design should I use for the yellow layer? A black Mickey Mouse hat is going to be sitting on top of the yellow tier. I'm pleased how this is starting to shape up. I think he will love it. Our daughter says he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse all the time. I hope the Mickey Mouse Police don't come to get me!

you could put little black mickey ears/head all around. Nice job on the cake too.

I agree with amycake. I first thoughts was the ears/head. Love the cake. What a lucky litlle man he is to have a granma making him such a beautiful cake.

I agree with amycake.....................it could use some mickey ears.

But, really it's great; it just looks a little bare on top.

Your colors are great and so are mickeys hands!!

I think I will do the spirals and Mickey heads.I'm getting ready to take my DH in for surgery, but I will finish it up tonight and post the end product!

If there will be a Mickey head on top...I see fondant pokadots.. maybe red??

Thanks Guys! I have been working hard on this.It's funny, our youngest daughter (6months) . Grandson(3). Our daughter picks on me all the time for Grandma having another baby!

I didn't get to finish the cake tonight because my husband's surgery took all day and by time we got home, the kids had cheerleading, homework, etc. I will be up bright and early finishing this one up!

Best of luck with your Hubby's surgery, hope all goes well! Beautiful cake, can't wait to see the picutres! I would also do the polka dots as you'll be having the ears on top! Beautiful! I have my 4 year old jumping up and down, super excited with your cake! Wish you the BEST!
