I just finished putting MMF on a cake for the first time ever! icon_smile.gificon_smile.gificon_smile.gificon_smile.gif
It went so well so far! I was NOT a total disaster like I was expecting!
Can you tell I'm totally thrilled? I've wanted to do a fondant cake for like years now, and thanks to all of you here at CC I felt I had enough info to give it a go!

So what's the best way to store the leftovers?

Should I roll it back into a ball and re-roll it next time..

OR

Try to store it flat in the pieces I have left, or fold it onto itself and store it that way?

I know I have to keep it room temp and very airtight, but not sure what's best for future use.

Thank you all for the information!
I'm so excited there's cornstarch ALL over the keyboard and computer desk right now!

YAY!

I roll my leftovers up, wrap in plastic wrap and seal in a zip lock bag. I also freeze any left over fondant, I have never had any problems with it other then remembering to take it out in time for it to thaw before I need it.

I always roll mine back into a ball and put it in Seal and wrap paper inside a plastic bag and into a sealed bucket. It stays fresh and soft for the next time that I use it.
