I am wanting to offer cookie gift baskets and favors, but I'm not sure where to start. What icing to you use to decorate them? Are the cookies from scratch or can you docotor a mix like with a cake? All info VERY much appreciated! icon_biggrin.gif

Hi and welcome to CC!!

I'd suggest you begin with reading the article (in the article seciton on this site) "How to make and decorate cookies." It is WONDERFUL and should answer a lot of your questions.

Oh, and you should definitely check out the "cookie club" threads each month and join us in practicing cookies!
