I just made the Magnolia's chocolate cupcake recipe and it's good, but it doesn't have the good chocolate taste like the boxed cake mix. I think it's the bakers chocolate, I don't like the taste. I was wondering if I could used milk chocolate instead of bakers chocolate? Any one know how that will turn out? TIA, Kristen

I've tried the Magnolia chocolate cupcake recipe also, and it's not a very chocolatey cupcake recipe. I don't think that substituting milk chocolate will make it more chocolatey, since milk chocolate would be more diluted chocolate than the unsweetened chocolate. If you're looking for a more chocolatey cupcake, I would try a different recipe.
