I was wondering what is sugarpaste? Do you only make flowers out of that> What are the cute figures made out of? Is it fondant, Marzipan, or something else? What do you use fondant for besides covering a cake? Marzipan used for? Sorry so many questions but I am confussed icon_redface.gif

sugarpaste is the same as fondant. You can roll it out and use it for covering a cake. You can do that with marzipan as well, or you can even mix marzipan with fondant 50/50 for bette taste. You can use the fondant for making flowers and figures, but they will be more sturdy with gumpaste or modelling paste. Marzipan can be used for figures and flowers too.
Hope that helps.

So I guess that means they are all edible right? Candy clay? That sounds interesting what exactly is it and do you order it or can you make it yourself?

Thanks I saw the recipe. OK then I have another question, once you have made what ever with the candy clay I gather it gets very hard when just left out right? But do people still eat it, I mean how hard does it get? How long in advance do you make it before you put it on the cake or what ever you are making? Sorry so many questions I just find this so interesting. icon_lol.gif

icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif Candy clay is great, I've used it for flowers. I believe fom recall its 1 bag wilton candy melts and 1/4 cup karo syrup. It is very hard but once worked with your hands its very pliable. I have done a chocolate cake with the peanut butter candy melts formed into candy clay. Its great for the peanut butter lover.

hope this helps
