Hi.
I was thinking about buying a few of the Cake Mix Doctor's books. I was just looking for some feedback on her recipes. For the most part, do you like them? It seems a lot of people commented about the Brides White Cake that it is delicious but a little crumbly and needs a little more milk, but other than that, if you've made recipes out of her books, do you like them and are there any recipes you recommend? Tips? Ideas?

Thanks!

If you're going to be making cakes using a mix, I think the books are a must have. I have the original CMD and it's great! My favorite recipes are the ones for ripe banana loaves, cookie pops and the candy bar one...can't remember what it's called.

The Cake Mix Doctor is an excellent investment. Once you buy it you will get hooked. The bride's white cake, sour cream yellow cake, and buttermilk devil's food cake is my favorite.
