I just got the "Cake Bible" which I am really enjoying, but I noticed in the back a heading about Swan's Down cake flour. It said you should not add baking powder or salt to self-rising cake flour. Is all Swan's Down self rising or would it specify that on the box? My box doesn't say anything about self-rising. Sorry if this is a bit erratic, my 2 yr old is in here with me.

If it doesn't say self-rising on the box, it should just be plain cake flour. I buy that brand and have never seen self-rising. I always add baking powder, salt, etc. Hope this helps.
