I have been using the No Fail cookies with great results. I'm wondering if I can use a little brown sugar or cinnamon in the recipe for flavor. If I can use brown sugar, do I reduce the white sugar and add the reduced amount as brown sugar??? What effect will the brown sugar have on the taste?

I appreciate any ideas.

It doesn't hurt to try adding brown sugar or cinnamon to the recipe. It may be fun... Otherwise, you could PM marinersfan, since she contributed the recipe. She may have tried different things with it before... Just a thought. LOL

I haven't tried either of those additions, but I think that either would work fine.

There have been posts in the past about people using different flavored extracts (lemon, orange, etc) in the cookies to flavor them, so that might be another option for you also.

hth!
