I have a number of Wilton novelty cake pans and they suggest using a two-layer cake recipe. Please can someone provide me with a tried and tested two-layer cake recipe in grams if possible as I am in the UK. This is my first post so be gentle with me.

Hi and Welcome Panda-monium!

I would start by looking through the recipes section here at Cake Central. There are many, many recipes in there.

Hope that helps! icon_smile.gif

Any basic recipe that makes 4-6 cups of batter should work in those pans. So if you already have a good cake recipe that you like, try it out. icon_smile.gif

Welcome Panda-modium!

A regular cake recipe for an 8 inch or 9 inch cake will do. I have a good one listed under "yellow cake layers", do a search for my posts. Sorry, but I don't have it handy. It is also not in metric. Maybe someone else can do the conversions for you.

Good luck,
Naty
