Awwwwwwwwww... he is just too darn cute!! He can't even say he didn't do it as you caught him red-handed... not to mention red-faced... red-legged... etc. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Hope you both went easy on him once you calmed down... he probably thought he was helping you!

Thanks Chebean!! I just started back to work this week as a consultant after a 2+ year hiatus, and this was the kids' first week in daycare. Therefore, they both sucked up all the germs that they hadn't been exposed to like little human vaccuums, and now they are both sick with colds and pink-eye. Not fun.

But both are definitely doing better, just trying to balance working, baking, motherhood responsibilities, etc. Not so easy, as I've learned this week!!!

Try Folex on the carpet - I got out the stains from a corroded battery out after they had set for months.

That is funny - I have a 2 yr old and I know that 'it's too quiet' feeling!

The Magic Sponge by Mr. Clean removes everything..even pen and marker from wood doors. It'll definetly take it off of him, but try it on your carpets too!
Good Luck!

Your luck sounds like mine. When it rains, it pours!!!! Here is what happened to me here recently...

I made a Spongebob cake for a little girls birthday party. I was completely done with the cake and it was about 20 minutes before she was going to come pick it up (as she was on her way to the party). Well, I walked outside to my backyard to check on my kids and came back in and my 5 month old Lab had licked the entire side of the cake. He did not touch any cake. *The cake was sitting on my kitchen counter on a cake stand near the edge, so he was only able to reach it with his tongue* Anyway, I panicked... I cut some of the cake (the part he had licked on) repaired it like nothing ever happened. My friend pulled and I was not going to say anything (after all I SWEAR I got all puppy germs) and the minute the lady walked in ... my 5 year old son said, "My doggie licked your cake and it made my mommie scream and say ugly words to my doggie". LOL!!! Needless, to say she had to make a fast trip to Wal-Mart because she said she would not eat after a dog.
!@#$%^%^#^%$@!#$$

LOL !!!! LOL!!!

P.S. YES

That is too funny!! It reminds me of when my son was around that age[He is 31 now] he was in the living room crying and I went to see what was wrong and he was just sitting there with red all over his mouth and hands 'I was freaking out thinking he was bleeding, like he cut his tongue or something, so here I was trying to calm him down,[I think he thought he was bleeding too, cause he was looking at his hands]I was cleaning him up trying to figure out where he was cut and caught a big whiff of KOOLAID!!!!!He got a pack of cherry koolaid and was eating it!!LOL!!!!

oh my goodness LOL he's just too cute with the little grin

as for the carpet. OxyClean is the best stuff in the world. Get the water as HOT as possible and add oxyclean and still till totally evaporated. either spray with a bottle or just dip a rag in and get the carpet pretty wet, let it sit for a while then scrub with soap and water.
i had red icing all over a shirt not too long ago and i soaked it in oxyclean and the shirt looks brand new
good luck

Ok, that reminds me of the time my friend's 2 year old woke up in the middle of the night, got a can of chocolate frosting and proceeded back to the bedroom where she frosted the mattress from her baby bed (it was on the floor as they were transitioning to the toddler bed in the next room). After frosting the mattress, she set her dolls and stuffed animals around the mattress "cake" - she even put some party hats on some of them. Then the little darling went and slept on the sofa. Her mom sure had a big surprise when she found the "party" waiting for her the next morning!!!

My daughter did that with a jar of blueberry jam. I found her on my white couch, yes i said white, and she had smeared it all over her legs, face, hands, arms, couch cushions and pillows. Luckily it didnt stain. I used Spot Shot and Oxyclean for laundry. You should try that before you replace it your rug.

How funny...sorry, though. LOL He looked so cute and guilty... I hope this works for you ( I don't know about w/ red dye but I've gotten lots of things out including oil);I use peroxide for stains. It works on carpet and clothes and doesn't change the original color of the garment or carpet. Thanks for sharing the giggle at your carpet's expense. icon_lol.gif
