I'm reading about cake disasters this afternoon to make myself feel better. I had my first one this morning........it was for a baby shower........40 people. I made the block shaped cake......the block I put on top was too heavy....well, you can image......down it came......AFTER I delivered it........I offered to go fix it......she said there was not enough time. Thank goodness the lady was a regular client......I don't like letting anyone down...... but I'm glad this was not a new client......I still feel bad.....how do you make this up to people?
It was my fault.......I made it too heavy.......

So sorry to hear about your disaster! I think we've all had one...and some of us many more than that icon_smile.gif Since she's a regular, you could offer her a discount on her next cake.

I hate it when things like that happen! I think it is a good idea to offer a discount on her next order. We have all had those days when nothing seemed to go right! Cheer up! icon_razz.gif
