i know this is completely aside from everything, and btw the cake is awsome!!!!! i have been keeping up with this post case i wanted to see the end result but am at a loss for why twinsline left ? im new... i am not trying to be rude, but its like a story that im jst not getting all the pages to. and its complete and horrible curiosity. if you dont answer i will understand.........

I understand your wanting to know, but out of respect to twinsline 7 we should allow her the freedom to enjoy being back with her C.C. friends. Should she wish to answer any questions, it would be kindness on our part to allow her to do so privately.

It is true...the reason I left isn't anything to why I came back. It was so nice to hear from ge that you guys were asking about me.....because truth be known.....I WAS HAVING WITHDRAWLS!....smartie fartie comments to ge in messenger weren't nearly as funny as they are here!! ........the biggest impact...I wasn't able to hide from my kids!!!

I can not thank you all enough or tell you how great you guys made me feel with your posts and pms to ge......but it really ge we need to be woo whooing.....she's the best cake buddy anyone could ask for!!!


Back to the cake....

the cake was delivered last Saturday....the mother LOVED it! It was a surprise party for the little girl, so I was not able to see her reaction to it....but the mom called me the very next morning to say she loved it...and that all the girls at the party had so much getting to pick themselves out...and each got a piece with themselves on it. ya'll are going to die...like ge fell out of her chair when I told her, but I did not charge for this cake ...I know I know....the original plan was to charge, because thats how my husband set it up, bu ttruth be known, Im not ready to charge yet....I had no itentions of charging until I got "legal"....so i the end I let her know that I could nnot charge her and that i was extremely grateful for the oppurtunity to make the cake......she was very appreciative and gave me a thank you card and a Target gift card! It was a nice surprise...but bigger than that is that she has already asked for a cake in October and has two friends ready to order.....umm, guess I need to get legal soon...

How wonderful you are. I would have been tempted to at least charge for the ingredients. I'm surprised you aren't legal yet. You are so talented.

Oh, and you are right...Thank you GE for sticking with us and bringing Twinsy back.

Glad you're back, Twinesline7. I love your cakes - and especially loved reading about the slumber party cake. Such talent! I just started reading this topic today, and was nearly in tears as I saw that you were gone. Then you were back and I was thrilled...It is a good thing that I didn't start reading it when you started writing, I couldn't stand the anxiety! I admire you for your generosity in giving the cake to the birthday girl! What a wonderful friend!
