I need help . I made this cake last weekend and family and friend have called all week asking what this cake would cost. So and so wants to know I showed them a picture.
I have know ideal. I iced it in buttercream and then put the fondant on . but there's so much fondant would you price it as fondant cake?
THe cake sizes are 7 inch and 10 inch. In the wilton book there wasn't a serving for 7 inch so I took 6 severing off and got 18 for the 7 and 38 for the 10 inch total of 56 .
But even at that I still have the base to add in . I can ask my daughter the price of the toys.
If you can help in pricing this let me know.

It's the circus cake in my photos. I'm sorry I don't know how to put it on .

dolittle, fondant cakes start at $3.00 per serving in some areas, as little as $2.50. Your cakes are seriously cute and I would definately not undersell myself if I were you. I mean SERIOUSLY cute!!!

yes, price as fondant.

so 56 servings at a MINIMUM of $2/serving = $112 plus cost of toys $12 (at amazon.com) = $124.

so at least $125 and up to $150 or more

Add up the cost of all your ingredients and multiply times 3. That should give you around about cost to charge. Take off alittle if you want or charge more if you need to deliver it.

Thanks for the nice comments! I have added it at 2.50 and it is 140.00 I added 10.00 for the base covered in fondant and trim.So that is 150.00 with out toys. I know that one set was around 12.00 or 13.00. But there is the car on top it has to be at least 10.00. So what if I round it off to 175.00. I don't think anyone will want me to do it for that but I think they just want to know what it would cost. What do you think?
