I think that all of the cakes were marvelous and unique and brilliantly done!
My only disappointment is this and I am strictly voicing my opinion here, not trying to offend anyone or make them angry. I think that it is better to vote on absolutely every last cake, I think if people have taken the trouble and courage to enter a contest, they deserve to be voted for. I also think that every last cake there was good and I was disappointed that people would rate any cake lower than that rating.
Perhaps it amounts to the same thing, but it shows interest and appreciation for everyone's efforts. I know that is not how the rules were stated and nobody did anything wrong, but I just think it would have been a nicer approach by the voters.

Hmmm I guess I need to re look at them is there a way to see the top 10? I hope to get a cake entered into this FD contest hopefully today...just have to figure out this laptop and how to load digital pics onto it.
