I have a chocolate ganache I am making. It says to put the whipping cream and choc in a saucepan. Won't the cream get gross?
I have regular heavy whipping cream and Baker's chocolate bars and that is all the recipe calls for.

Is that right?? icon_confused.gif

That is right for ganache. You bring the cream to just below a boil and take it off the heat and add the chocolate and stir.

When I make it, I heat the cream almost to boiling, then pour over chocolate. Let set a couple seconds to begin to melt, then begin stirring until all choc is melted and cream is completely incorperated. Hope this helps.
