Hi,

I'm making my website and it's possible to have the price direct on it but i don't have idea for the client to know how many cake for how many slice they want .

do i have some idea?? make a pop up open with figure of the cake and the number of slice it take?? or make directly my price for example if one personne want 100 slice, i multiplicate with my price? or the number of slice it's possible to order for a wedding cake example pan 10+8+6 it's 53 slices so i put 53 slice 3 cakes???

Thank you

Since just about any cake can be done in different sizes or serving amounts, I would simply put in your base price per serving and make a notation that there will be additional costs depending how detailed or intriquate the design. In this country we charge extra for fondant so make a notation for things like that on your site. Good luck and let us know when it's up so we can see. Also, go to different web sites and look at how they price their cakes for ideas.

if I understand correctly I think you want to put the price as per serving?? so prices start at $X.XX per serving.

then the customer can get an idea of how much a 53 slice/serving will cost.

well if they want 50 slices but you have pans where you can't get exactly 50 slices....you would explain that you can do a cake for either 57 slices (and at that price) or a cake for say 45 slices (and at that price)....or whatever other sizes you can that gets close to 50.

That way they can decide if they want to pay for the extra cake or maybe they don't really need 50 and can go a bit lower.
