I recently made a cake from one of Collette Peters books. I was wondering if I would be allowed to post it on my website. Anybody know? It is her design, but I did make the cake myself. There is a slight difference since she covered her cakeboard with the same fondant design on her cake, and I didn't. But I don't want to step into any copyright doodoo if you catch my drift.

I would acknowledge that it was her design...something like "Inspired by Collette Peters".

Thanks....that's what I was considering. Just wasn't sure it was enough. Thanks for the speedy response!

As long as it's your own work and your own photo, you can post whatever you'd like on your website. Out of professional courtesy, though, you should give credit to Colette as the original designer.
