hi everyone! i am just wondering how long does candy clay last? i am planning to make it in advance and use them for christmas decorations on the dome cake i am sending as presents for family. thanks so much in advance.

I made candy clay roses last April and used them on a wedding cake last weekend. I stored them in a rubbermaid container in my basement where it was cool all summer. As long as they don't get too warm they should be ok.
