This might be long!!!!!!!!!!
I started mine biz in Feb I'm in B.C just contact your local health Dept they will tell you what you need to do. You will most likely need a seperate kitchen check with your churches in the area to see which are already food safe and just ask if they will rent it to you I pay $50 for the first 4 hrs and $10 per hr after that I am getting so busy that I am going to talk to them and set up a monthly fee for the use of it. After that I registered my business name and went to cith hall for my license and went back to the health dept to let them know I found a kitchen and they went to inspect it just for formalities they already knew the kitchen and happy that I was able to make arrangements to use it. The health dept phone city hall to let them know I was approved and had my liciense in 2 days. Went really quick once I decided to do it took about 2 weeks and I was done. If I can help any more just pm me.

Hi! I'm in Ontario and thinking about starting a small business. You said that you needed a separate kitchen - is that true for everyone? You can't use your kitchen in your home?

Usually not there are pretty sticky about using your own kitchen. But it does depend on your area check with your local health dept.
