I've been seeing this cake for a while, and I'm just wondering...
Does anybody know the "How to's" for this spectacular cake?
Is there a pattern or a cutter for the embroidered fern in the lower tier of the cake? Which flowers are used in the middle tier, that hug the cake all around?

I have the itch to try, but dont' want to waste materials icon_wink.gif

Hi Godiva. The only reference I could find with a picture was at the following site.

I cannot make out the flowers that are used, other than the roses and also leaves - but that middle tier I cannot see well enough.
To make the fern, tips from 65s, 65 to 67 can be used to make this design. Thin buttercream works well for this. If you have The Wilton School Decorating Cakes Book, the instructions for piping ferns are on page 70. This is an excellent book for learning techniques.
