I wish we could ease your pain with humor, but this is not a humorous problem. I just hope that you and your sons know that everyone here feels your pain and wants the best for all of you. I believe that keeping busy in any form is better than dwelling on the loss of someone. If your husband supported your cake business, he would want you to continue. One good piece of advise that I have heard is do not make any rash decisions on anything for at least a year. Let us know how we can help you and your family.
My heart goes out to you and your family.....I am a fellow NC'er. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can help you......prayers for you all.
Helen, my deepest sympathy to you and your boys. This is the time to rely on your friends and family including us here at CC. You are not alone in this, we will all be thinking of you and your family.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I pray that God's loving arms stay wrapped around you and that you can continually feel his presence. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need something.

Helen,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I was moved to tears at all the posts I found here this morning. CC members are truely amazing. Please continue your business--your talent shouldn't be wasted and DH will be watching and guiding you as you go. God bless...
You and your family will be in our thoughts and Prayers.... Sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to you during this sad time. I'm sure most of your company has gone home by now but just know that we are all here supporting you too.
The first thing I thought of (when I read you didn't have any wedding cakes for a couple of weeks) is that the Lord knew this time was coming just as He knows all things. He protected you, yet has you quickly returning to it as you have this wedding cake so soon.
And, of all things, you have all those cans of transfat Crisco. So it sounds to me like He intends for you to stay with this or your "cup would not be running over" with an abundance of that loaded fat Crisco.
I know today will be a hard day as things settle down and company leaves but stay in touch with us and keep baking. I'm sure your husband would want you to.
I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss...my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

All thoughts are with you. I too have had some devastating news this week and strange enough I have found making models for some cakes I have lined up is helping to distract my mind. I'm not sure if I'll be well enough to do them all but I'm gonna try my hardest. My babies help to distract me too.
You will get through this, and so will I, with the love and support of those around us. Stay positive and strong. xxxx
You and your family are in our prayers. May our Lord Jesus Christ bring you comfort in this time of great loss.
Hi,, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. A death is hard to deal with any time but more so when it is so unexpected. You and your boys will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
My deepest sympathy. May the Lord be a comforting pressence in your life and your sons. Take care.
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband. I could not imagine the pain you are going through. Be sure to lean on all those who love you as the bustle of company fades and leaves you with your thoughts. It's always harder when you don't have to put on the brave face for others. Helen,
I am so sorry for your loss. My father went the same way when he was only 45. It is hard to deal with an unexpected loss such as this. However my mother has always said "Just keep putting one foot in front of the other." Keep doing that and eventually you will come to the place where the hurt is easier to cope with and the fond memories are what remain.
Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

My prayers go out to you and your family. Hold close to one another and time will help to ease the pain that you are feeling.
Helen,
I am very sorry for your great loss. I am also very moved and releived that you have faith amg confidence in God, for that makes situations such as these much more 'easier' to handle and cope with. God Bless and stay strong.
Helen,
I am very sorry to hear of your husbands passing.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am so happy that you have your strong faith to see you through. I can't imagine how people without faith ever get through things like this. I understand about the Crisco because I too have been buying it up as I find it. God bless you and your family!!
