I do not usually do fillings unless it is buttercream. But I am making a three tiered cake 6" white, 10" white, and 12" chocolate. For the chocolate cake I am making ganache for the filling. Any ideas for a filling that would blend well with a basic white cake?

With basic white cake options are numerous!! What about a summery fruit flavor? Peach, pineapple, even lemon!

This cake is for a baby girl baby shower. Do you think I should try something strawberry or raspberry?

I mix strawberry spread with buttercream icing. People love it. I use the spread because there are no big pieces of strawberries. But if you want that use jam or jelly.
