I think going to another site would be like going to another family. All new people that are strange, and I am sure they are not as close as we all are.

I am glad that they made improvements because I am sure they were needed. Although that page they put up needs to go if it is going to be days since it made it seem like it should have been min.

I was so sad when CC was down I missed it sooooo bad I to was checking it every 5 mins now I am soooo Happy I can go on with my day.

OMG I was going CRAZY! I ck'd it constantly as well. And this time I had an actual question for a potiental customer not just looking for my own pure pleasure! That was SOO miserable not having my cc! My mommies board just wasn't keeping up w/ me since I was only on there, I was going nana's!

My Husband said hooray when CC was down cause I actually got things around the house done. I ws so sad. happy it's back. i was checking every 5 mins though.

Heelllloooooo everybody!! I'm sure we all need new manicures and hair replacements after those two days!! Whew!

We need a place to gather at just to be able to chat when CC is down! Like an alternate CC for addicts!

Oh, and the addiction program for CC addicts is a 105 step program. It takes years to graduate and it's suggested that you continue to log on to CC regularly to keep your sanity until you've completed the program!!....LOL

I confess, I went to another cake site, a blog called Cake Fun...but only to ask if they knew what had happened. And you know what...they did! I was so relieved to find out it wasn't my computer or that CC had disappeared, only down for reconstruction.

I'm with you guys it sent me into quite a panic. I had minor surgery and was in bed for 2 days during this time with no cc to look at on my laptop!
My husband just shook his head this morning when he left for work and I could barely look up to say goodbye ... I was too busy getting my cc fix!

OMG, it was horrible. I realized I was addicted to this site when I couldn't log on. It's all I thought about. Kept checking...nothing! I checked out a couple of other sites, really not the same. Probably won't visit them again. I did make my first batch of MMF with all the extra time on my hands. LOL! It's everything everyone has said - yummy and EASY. I am going to try and make some edible pearls today.

Oh my gosh, I didn't know what to do with myself! And the biggest scare happened yesterday when I tried a few times and my Internet browser just said that the page could not be displayed - then it started doing one of those automtaic searches - I was scared CC was gone forever! While my boyfriend tried assuring me it wouldn't be the end of the world, I was in full-fledge panic mode for 2 days straight. SUCH a relief this morning when it finally came back!

Yikes! talk about confusion my home ! this was not pretty!

I didn't think I had an addiction to the site until it was gone. It's my drug. I neeeeeeeeeeed it- at least 25 times a day- without it I experience mood swings, trouble breathing, nervousness, and the chills. CC is what keeps me sane. It helps me to make better cakes, and lets me share my creativity with others. I have and addiction to the best website in the world. Thank you.

i was soooo relieved just now when i clicked on my cake central icon on my toolbar and IT WORKED!!!!! i was sooo depressed and anxious about what i would possibly do if god forbid cc went away!!!!

i remembered that lisa has her own blog site so i googled it and emailed her to see if she hads any connections to get it back up and she emailed back explaining that they were getting a new faster server but the wait was horrible!!

i have cakes to plan and had no where to go!!!!

i also did get alot of yard work done though!!

Oh my gosh, we're they trying to kill us or what? If so, then it was a very slow and painful death.

I hope this doesn't happen to much in the future, if so then we may need some life insurance, because it about killed me.

All I did was shop at Ebay, and spend money I didn't have. But atleast it was for my daughters birthday, so not a total waste of money.

Anyway, I am glad it is back up and running, can't wait to see what everyone else has been doing.Lets celebrate.

Fortunately, I had a very busy Tuesday and Wednesday, so I didn't have a chance to check and see if cc was back. There's also been a new yahoo group started for the GA CC members, so that helped to ease the pain a little!

Yeah, I was pretty furious!!! I needed a recipe I have only made a handful of times so I had to wing it! Fortunately it turned out okay! But I'm happy now!!!!

I had to make buttercream for my Wilton 1 Class and I messed it up and it was falling off the sides of my cake because it was too runny and I was standing in the kitchen so frustrated...."Cake Central, where are you?" My husband thought I was crazy until I told him that the site was down, BUT if it wasn't down, I could post a message about my problem and wonderful people from all over would write me back and help. So, my cake looked funny for my class, OH WELL, i'm just glad CC is back. Long time no type everyone!

Well, I don't know3 about you, but CC being down cost my husband some money. Because I couldn't get to where I wanted to be, I had to take my daughter on field trips to check out all of the cake decorating stores listed in our yellow pages...... one was a total laugh (will go into that later) and another was heaven. But now that CC is back, I can safely surf the waves of CC and chill............

Glad I'm not the only one who was really missing this site!! I didn't realize I was addicted until it wasn't here! I even tried other fixes, but it just didn't work - I was MISerable

I found myself lost and lonely... I did go to other sites looking for a denim look, and can you believe it would tell me " no matches found", I go on cc this morning and I find a page full of matches. Point is: " There is no place like HOME."

My dh invited me to shop and that he would go and stay with me at the stores just to chear me up. This morning he tells me if I was ok and if I wanted to go with him I said hold on I have to check something real quick. When I see cc is back up I told him I had a cake to work on so I couldn't go out with him. Yeah, o.k. here I am working on my cc fix- I mean cake!!!!LOLOLOLOl.

HELLO!! So glad CC is back. I too was beginning to hate that awful white screen with the slice of cake. I was also wondering if they were just trying to kill us or what? Hope everyone is breathing better now that we've all got our "fix"

Wow!! I always knew this site was an invaluable source of info, but I really learned how much I rely on all of you while the site was down!!!! I was also miserable and checking constantly to see if it was back up!! I guess I can officially consider myself an addict since the withdrawl symptoms were awful!!
