I made a Butter recipe cake over the weekend to try. My husband loved the flavor of the cake, but hated the buttercream icing with it. It was way too buttery. My question... what icings are good with this type of cake? I don't think cream cheese icing would go, and for some reason... I just can't come up with anything else besides chocolate.

I use the butter cream dream recipe and add half a small bag of white chocolate to it. Everyone loves it that way... I also have added strawberry extract to that and that is good.
