Just saw this on the Rachel Ray show and thought some of you might be interested. Looks very versatile for cupcakes and cake to me!

http://www.cupcakecourier.com/index.asp

I sent off an email to find out the price because I could not find it listed on their website. Will post back when I get a reply...........or..........if one of you get the price first please post here and let us know. I am thinking one of these needs to be in my kitchen and I do have a large order cupcake event coming up soon. icon_smile.gif

How cute! I wonder how that would work with the icing?

From what I could tell on Rachels show it is very large deep compartments so the icing doesn't get squished from above or touched on the sides. My thought was "it is about time someone came out with a cupcake holder that is actually large enough to hold big frosted cupcakes without them messing each other up".
I also like the fact you can take all three cupcake racks out and use it as a large tall rectangular cake carrier.

I still have not heard back from them with a price. Maybe I'll go ahead and call them. Yep, will do that right now then BRB with a price.

Called but got the message saying "The persons message box is full" so I couldn't leave a message.
Being featured on the Rachel Ray show this morning may have swamped the poor lady with orders and inquiries!
Hopefully someone will be able to answer my email before to long.
More info as I can get it.
Hopefully one of you that is interested in the Courier will find out something too.

Do a back search on cupcake courier and you'll see that there are several threads every couple months.

I have one and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I've checked out MANY types and this si the only one that is a: sturdy, b: holds 3 dozen, c: has enough space between levels for those swirled bc tops.

I'm attaching a couple pic:

Thanks Melissa! This is the first time I have seen or heard of one and I am trying to get one ordered but having no luck! Darn it!! They don't answer the biz phone and have not replied to the email I sent them. Where did you get yours from?

Plus, i really think it makes you look more professional to bring in your "goods" in something well, professional looking. If I need 4 dozen, I bring the last twelve in the Wilton cake carrier - it's PERFECT. I've had SOOOOO many people asking about it and wanting one.

I know some people feel the price is high when you get an Oneida 24 cupcake carrier for liek $12, but that uses the cupcake pan for the bottom level, which means you have to clean it before using it for carrying or have a dirty pan for display and two, it DOES NOT have the space inbetween.

Now Martha Stewart has one at Kmart, but it is SOOOOOOOOO flimsy and holds 27. It's a bucket style like this, but you have to drop the cupcakes into the "bucket" while holding two flimsy tabs that can FALL OFF while holding it. AND it's that cheap feeling plastic while this courier feels like tupperware - that thicker, heavy duty stuff.

I ordered through their website. Before I ordered I did email her and it took a couple days for her to get in touch with me. She's still pretty small game and I think doing most of it herself.

Wow, this was kinda spooky. I was just in the kitchen, and Rachel Ray was on tv, showing this on her show, literally 2 minutes ago! I come into the office and pull up CC, and here it is!
It does look very useful!

LOL Good eye! Yep... The cake recipe was a little dry, but I filled it with a little bit of raspberry jam that had been thinned with water, heated and added a bit of corn starch. The frosting was white chocolate. It was REALLY good the first day, but it got REALLY STIFF by days end. It's butter, ps and white chocolate chips.

I don't mind paying a higher price for a better quality product like this one is. It is a one time investment so what is 32.95+sh for a lifetime of use.

My guess??? She got overloaded with orders when that show aired. I think it was the last time it was on air that people looked into it too!

Yeah, that is what I am thinking too. She is probably up to her neck with orders and trying to run the business on a shoestring of help to save as much $$ as possible since she is a new business. Looks like January was the first time it was aired.

That is ridiculous! Wonder why they won't ship to Canada!? Maybe it is because they are so small still. Don't know but I am sorry about that for you!

Lots of places won't ship to Canada - not unusual. I lived there for two years and it DROVE ME CRAZY - that and the import fees!

I bought this one at a store in Michigan called ABC Warehouse. I don't remember the exact prize, but I paid something like $10-$12. I love it. I have used it to take 2 dozen cupcakes to my kids school. I swirl the icing with tip 1M and the cupcakes don't touch at all. It is also available at Amazon for $19.99.

That's like the Oneida one and the one most people went with last time. I think I'm the ONLY ONE who actually bought the courier. I guess I don't think $42 is too much for something I'll use a lot. Plus, 24 is not enough for my son's school. He ALWAYS has 24-25 students and then you need one for the teacher too!.... What do you do with the two extras you need to carry?

They are big to store though and I did some measuring and it's a tad too narrow to stack a 10" and 6" two tier cake...
