If a recipe says that a cake should be baked in a bundt or tube pan can you bake it in just a plain round pan? I know this is probably a stupid question. But I have someone who wants banana cake as a top tier on a cake and all my banana cake recipes say bundt or tube. Just want to not have a disaster as I have 4 cakes ordered for this weekend.

Yes, you can use any pan you like. Make sure that you only fill the pan 2/3 the way.
