Is there anyone out there who has gone through the home inspection with the ohio dept. of Agriculture?

I'm getting my kitchen ready for inspection know and I have an app. for the last week of Aug. with the inspector. I've removed the old wallpaper and painted, organized all my supplies, and have typed up my ingrediant lists for all my items on lables. All that is left is for a good cleaning from top to bottom and I'm all set. The only thing you can not have is pets in the home and carpeting in the kitchen. Hopefully in by Sept. 1st I'll be legal.

May I ask a few questions regarding the labeling? Do you bake from scratch or box? If by box, how do you list the ingredients? Do you list all the 'filler stuff from the box'? I'm curious as I need to start labeling.

I do both from scratch and from box depending on what the customer requests. I emailed the agriculture dept. and they said that all ingredents must be listed be it either by scratch or by box.

Thanks! So basically, I can pretty much copy what's on the box and add my 'doctoring' ingredients to the list. So much for the 'secret'! LOL icon_smile.gif

I had the same question regarding lable with the boxed mix. Please do let us know what the experience was like. Thank you so much for replying and the added questions.
