Just putting out the APB...where do you all feel is the best online way to a go for purchasing cake decorating supplies.....Looking for reliability, lots of choices, good price. There are more stores out there on the web than i realized...but wondering if wilton is always the way to go...

Specifically i'm looking for some fondant tools...like impression mats and molds/cutters, etc...

Well- I love Cake Centrals store! The customer service can't be beat!

I also have a favorite place to get petal and luster dusts as well as already made gumpaste flowers:

Another great place to get pans and cutters and such is ebay.

I get most of my stuff in craft stores and have bought from Wilton. I just want to get in on this post to see where you all like to shop.

This place is fantasic! I get all my stuff from here and it gets to me within a day or two. I've found it to be cheaper than most other places.

http://www.cakedeco.com/

also, you only need to spend $50 to place an order not $200 like other sites

Just to let you all know, The Cake Central Store just got a whole lot better.

We currently have a full selection of books, Magic Line cake pans, and decorating tools available for sale, or pre-sale on the items that are still OTW from the vendor.

We are still offering the Free Shipping in the US on orders over $50.

We have also added UPS as a shipping option in the US so that you can find the best shipping method for your needs.

And of course we are still shipping internationally, we just don't offer UPS since they add so many fees on international items.

There will be a full newsletter of info coming out in a couple days, but I just wanted to give a little heads up in this thread.

I sometimes go to Michaels of JoAnns due to the fact that they are closer and open later, but my usual haunt is called the Cake Palace. I've also just discovered that Parrish's Magic Line is in my back yard and I can go directly to their buisness/warehouse site and buy retail (They have EVERYTHING) at reasonable prices. As far as web shopping, I do tend to compare prices as well as shipping costs.
