icon_cry.gif Does anyone have the recipe for the chocolate chip cookies that was posted in here a couple of weeks ago? I was out of town and on a laptop, so I didn't get the recipe written down. It was a special recipe that makes thick chewy cookies, that's all I can remember. icon_cry.gif

This is one I use sometimes...not sure if it's the one you're looking for.

Also... I added a tablespoon or so of lemon juice to the dough once (not this recipe, it was one without the pudding) and it changed the texture and taste just enough. They stayed really chewy. I don't know why. I really liked them though.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/4 C flour
1 t baking soda
1 C butter, softened
3/4 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C white sugar
1 (3.4 oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
2 C chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325. Sift together dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugars. Beat in pudding till smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Blend in dry. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake for about 12 minutes.
