this is my first time to use foundant ana i have to use luster dust on it do i use water or vodka or everclear which is best to use and do i mix it up in a container or do i wet the brust and dip it in it

I use everclear - it has the highest alcohol content so it will evaporate quickly, leaving the dust on the cake nice and dry. I use a small container to mix them and paint from. If you accidentally add too much everclear and it's too thin, just leave the container open for a little bit and it will evaporate VERY quickly. Good luck!
